Every wedding story is unique, but Chloe & Arman's yacht wedding on the Bosphorus was a unique experience that reflected both cultural diversity and the power of love. On October 28, 2022, on a yacht in the enchanting view of the Bosphorus, this special day has taken its place in my memory and photo archive as a shooting story that I will never forget for the rest of my life...

The Wedding Begins Out of Crisis, Solution Born
Our shootings were to start from Arnavutköy beach as planned. Arman arrived on time with his family and guests. However, Chloe was stuck in Beşiktaş's famous traffic and we all had a brief crisis when we got the news that it would take more than an hour for her to arrive. Luckily, we found a quick solution. We made a slight change to our plan and diverted the yacht to Beşiktaş Pier and picked Chloe and her family up there. This move made up for the delay to a great extent. This showed once again how important flexibility and planning are as a wedding photographer...
Romance on the Bosphorus The Power of Letters
The wedding officially started with emotional moments on the terrace of the yacht with a mesmerizing view of the Bosphorus. Chloe and Arman read the love letters they had written to each other. This moment affected not only them but also all the guests. The wind was harsh on the Bosphorus, but Chloe and Arman's love turned this harsh wind into the winds of love. It was a very special experience for me to capture the emotional moments of a yacht wedding on the Bosphorus...
Fun-filled entertainment in the yacht's saloon
The yacht's lounge was ready for fun. When the DJ started playing the first dance music, Chloe and Arman took the stage. The first dance started with elegant and romantic figures, but soon turned into a lively one, and this transition was a signal for the guests. Suddenly the narrow dance floor was full and throughout the night we watched a symphony of dance that blended European, Iranian and even Indian dance cultures. Each figure was a work of art waiting to be reflected in the photo frames...
Cake Cutting Iran's Joyful Ritual
Before the cake cutting, the Iranian tradition of “Ragsheh Chagoo” (The Knife Does Not Cut Dance) was performed. In this colorful ritual, a dancer performed a fun game with typical Persian dance moves to hand the knife to the couple. The couple gave the dancer money to get the knife, which was then passed to the next dancer. This joyful tradition was enlivened by the enthusiastic participation of the guests. Even the British guests participated in this ritual, showing how cultural diversity creates a beautiful atmosphere...
Full Throttle Fun: Handkerchief Dance
The entertainment continued at full speed with the handkerchief dance, also known as the Lur dance, which is unique to Iran. These moments, where the handkerchiefs floated in the air in harmony, gave the wedding an enthusiastic touch and left unforgettable traces in the memories of the guests.
Farewell to the Night Chloe & Arman's Thank You's
At the end of the night, Chloe & Arman, with great kindness, read the thank you speech they prepared for the guests, the yacht staff, the DJ and me as Arman Marazan Photography, who made this unique wedding day meaningful. I was very touched on my own behalf. I'm glad I got to know them and I'm glad we had the opportunity to work together...
